Career Highlights:

• Although probably best known as the WGN-TV voice of the Chicago Cubs for many years, Brickhouse was a versatile host filling many roles on WGN Radio.
• Play-by-play man for Chicago Bears football along side Irv Kupcinet from 1953 through 1976.
• Interviewed Pope Paul VI.
• Co-host, with Eddie Hubbard, of the Brickhouse-Hubbard Show.
• Co-host, with Pierre Andre and Eddie Hubbard, of the WGN Radio 40th Anniversary special.
• In 1982, was one of the first hosts of WGN Radio's Sports Central program.
